It has been theorized that Electromagnetic frequencies can spike in and around where ghosts and spirits are thought to reside. That they can exude this type of energy and energy is the key word. Energy cannot be destroyed , it just changes form so what we are dealing with is a residual energy of some form. Whether it is a plasma type of energy or an electro static energy is uncertain but it can be measured.Intelligent and residual hauntings are said to have similar energy signatures and both can be detected with certain devices though the residual haunting is quite different from the intelligent haunting as it is just a replaying of events or a past individual and does not interact with the living. The energy of and from these ghosts and spirits is exclusive from any source, they are indeed the source of this energy but trying to interfere with an electro magnetic fluctuation could possibly repel and or disturb them. It is theorized that ghosts and spirits also feed off of human emotions. Fear being at the top of the list and anxiety and sadness following. There are all sorts of experiments being conducted with different applications and it is at the very heart of those investigating at trying to understand better how and why ghosts and spirits are able to exist.

Ghost and spirits yes gain their power from sources such as electric, water, and energy from the air.
To much emf from an electrical source can cause a few problems and give you that scare feeling as if someone is watching you, and sometimes from spirits you can feel that same type of feeling, and it don’t mean that their bad, it’s just that feeling.
Blocking emf from the source that gives it out, yes in many cases if you fix the emf problem. But that won’t mean that the spirit still isn’t there, you can feel their vibrations as well.

There is zero proof that EMF and ghost have anything in common. The notion seems to come from the movie Ghost-busters. So if you choose to get your science from a movie go ahead. There is however a working theory that high ranges of EMF can actually lead to unusual paranoia. so it is possible that people believe they see ghosts when EMF is tricking the brain

In theory ghosts are made of energy or in the least use it to manifest. This causes fluctuations in the energy in the air. Electromagnetic fields can be detected with meters such as the Ghostmeter, K2 and even the ELF meter. When these fields are higher than what they should be (determined by getting base readings in the location) than you may have a ghost.

no relationship has been established as of now. High EMF does induce feelings of uneasiness and can even make some people sick. I don’t think blocking EMF would block ghosts or spirits. I don’t think they need it either.
