I’m sorry if you find this question strange or offensive. But I’m just trying to understand the reasoning behind believe in God and the supernatural.
And please don’t answer:
“Because the Bible says so.”
or
“the Holy Spirit is real and ghosts are not”
Those are claims without reason or proof.
Helllllooooooo. the holy spirit is real.
lol. nah, good question.
If you believe in Holly Spirit you do things like praying for a right life ,for the happyness of others ,for not doing sins (to have the power not to do wrong things) etc. If you believe in ghosts you will try to start talking to the devil one day cause you might believe that ghost is a human. There is such posibilty. The devil always trys to trick people in so many ways.To believe that ghosts only exists(and they are the devil) and to believe that they are good …there is a big difference like from the earth to the sky and back again. there are many people that believed ghosts are human and than the ghosts tryed to hurt them.those ghosts did not standed pray or the sign Cross.
Well I guess the belief of the holy spirit is a spirit who protects you always. The belief of ghosts is of someone who has died but hasn’t moved on because something keeps them connected to the physical world. Where they move on is religion associated. So that’s a way they are connected I suppose.
The Holy Spirit is well, holy and ghosts are ‘the work of the devil’, in the words of the Christians.
What I think it is that they tend to think of themselves as better than others and that when they do something, it’s never wrong but when others do it, it’s a sin. Although there really is no difference, ghosts are ghosts.
The Holy Spirit is God, the third Person of the Blessed Trinity.
We only know about three Persons in one God, through Jesus telling us, and it is in the Bible, so I don’t know what more I can say.
People are quite free to believe in ghosts. Ghosts are possibly the spiritual souls of those who have died. They may or may not manifest themselves to us, but there is some evidence to suggest that they do. If they don’t, then those who claim it are either lying, or deluded.
The spiritual soul of every person will be separated from the body at death. I believe this, since I believe in the spiritual realm of reality.
If these separated souls do linger, or return, or whatever, then I can’t explain why, or how, and I don’t really care. It holds no interest for me, because it has no relationship with my faith in God, or in the reality of the universe, or my salvation, or my life, or whatever. Not meaning to be disrespectful, but that’s just how it is for me.
The Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost is the spirit of God that lives within each and every born-again Christian. Ghosts are the departed spirits that have left this world and are in a suspended place.
The Holy Spirit Isn’t A Ghost.
He’s a Spirit.
A Ghost Is Supposed To Be Attached To This Mortal Realm, Haunting People Or Causing Havoc. And Can Only Be In One Place.
The Holy Spirit Doesn’t Haunt People And Is EVERYWHERE At Once.
So, A Ghost By It’s Definition Doesn’t Mesh Well With The Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is part of the trinity. therefore, it is God in a form that is inside of us.
the Holy Spirit lives in my heart so i know he is real i have never experienced a Ghost of any kind
The Holy Spirit isn’t a spook.
