The term ‘ghost’ is a little too broad. Let’s be a bit more specific. First, there is quite a bit of anecdotal evidence which is highly consistent for decades of reporting simply to reject the reports out of hand.
Two types of phenomena seem to exist. One is most likely the result of an hallucination event where there seems to be a collaboration between mind of the person who experiences the apparition and the mind of the person (living or dead apparently) whom the apparition represents. This all appears to happen subconsciously for the person experiencing the apparition. Since it is stricly mental in nature, it can’t physically harm you. People who tell ghost stories unfortunately haven’t studies these hundreds of cases. The second type is most likely the result of a living person. These phenomena do result in physical events such as the moving of physical objects. These could be dangerous if the person experiencing the event were in the wrong place at the wrong time. But it’s important to know that there is no reliable case ever documented that anyone was ever killed by anything unseen. People have been scratched, but that is about as bad as it gets generally.

there are no “ghosts” of prior human’s, there are evil minions/demons of satan that as I think, “enjoy” messing with us, decieving and tempting us and swaying us from Biblcal teachings, anything to make you “believe” which is contradictory to God’s Word , stay close with God ask Him for guidance and assistance to keep them away …God Bless

Ghosts/Evil spirits tremble at the name of Jesus.
If you a christian and are tormented. simply say “in jesus name, go or leave me alone”
Psalm 91 is good to read if you are afraid of such beings.
