I guess it depends on who you ask
Many people have seen ghost-type phenomena and dismiss it. Since the etheric is clutter in life, taking people away from the truly important and tangible things in life, it’s probably for the best. What people believe is a palpable thing to quantify since the supernatural is not quantifiable. Polls on such things are done every so often, usual results range between 1/3 and 1/2 with belief. I’d say that is probably accurate enough, plus, people change their beliefs on a dime so the results will change day to day.
