Supposedly shadow people will break a light beam, whereas a ghost is transparent, and the light will go straight through them……

Shadow people are daemons (one type of daemon), ghosts are the spirits of formerly living people.

Shadow people cannot stand light and hide in shadows.

Ghosts are people who:

1. Died and not moved on
2. Not born yet
3. In between re-incarnations
4. People who can travel outside their bodies.

There is a difference in the mythology surrounding these supposed entities. But as for an actual difference, there really is very little. Both are just cases of visual illusions being interpreted as something supernatural.

Shadow people are believed to be from a portal (door to another dimension) They are benign and won’t hurt anyone. They primarily observe us. They usually move across walls and ceilings and when confronted hey disappear. Shadows on the other hand, I’ve been told by other investigators, are ghosts that manifest differently. Most people think shadows are bad entities or demons. They can be that’s for sure but most people relate black to evil and that’s purely a mind set.

Shadow people are believed to be a way that ghost manifest or show themselves, so they are actually a way to discribe the way a ghost looks.

Ghost as how people define it don’t exist. But demons do exist and they pretend to be ghosts so that they could trick people into going in the occult. Remember to note that if not you will be deceived.

I think there are two kinds of shadow people, according to different accounts.

There are the kind that seem to appear and then dart away like they don’t like you looking at them.

Then there are, what I call, Dark Manifestations. Malicious entities that seem to take shape as black or smoky ectoplasm. They usually emanate a sense of dread and often are accompanied by a rotten smell. People often get sick in their presence. I believe a Dark Manifestation is a diabolical entity.

The former kind of Shadow Person may be a dark entity of lesser power, or something else entirely. My favourite theory is that these kind of Shadow People are time travelers that are just out of sink enough with our reality that all you can see is their shadow. I’m thinking of a Michael Crichton book already!
