The village was renamed Frontenac in 1859 and prospered in fur trading, logging, limestone and hospitality. It is now a quiet community of tree-lined, unpaved streets and colorful, Civil War-era wood-frame homes.

I have been amazed at the turnout and interest concerning ghosts and communication with spirits.
Several places in Lawrence, including the home of Sigma Nu fraternity, are said to be haunted.
