I would say that since science is not yet able to prove the existence of ghosts that it cannot yet eliminate them. I don’t feel its religion specific because there are many techniques that I feel work very well that do not have their roots based in any religion. I also know many people are successful at clearings who do not subscribe to any set of doctrine. So based on your question, I would say its more spiritual and metaphysical practise right now.
I feel confident that someday science will explain what some of us already know, but that time hasn’t come yet.

Yes! Because when you investigate scientifically, you will find that there isn’t good evidence to support the ghost hypothesis. This stands in direct contrast to all the ghost hunting shows where the ghost hunters think they are being scientists because they use electronic equipment and try to debunk some things. Equipment and “debunking” are two elements of scientific investigation, yes, but scientific investigation requires much more than just that. And in regards to debunking, it usually seems the ghost hunters put effort into debunking all but their own preferred ideas about how ghosts operate.

It is of course a spiritual matter. There may be a scientific way, but I don’t see how at this point. Buildings or homes that are infested with negative spirits sometimes will have higher electrical bills where some of the usage cannot be accounted for. Meaning spirits feed or are at least attracted to electricity. I guess I bring this up because spirituality has all the tools you need. There may be some way to automatically be rid of spirits but I don’t see how because spirits are not bound by the laws of physics and do not exist on the same level that we do. You also need to understand that spirituality is of the spirit and soul and religion is something different but a useful guideline that has been created by man to achieve spirituality. It may help to start doing research and reading books by known authors in the subject of spirituality and paranormal.

I feel that there isn’t any way scientifically to accomplish this.People can try and communicate and help spirits cross over or they can cleanse a home to try and rid an entity.All though they have really cool technical equipment out to try and debunk or document any findings,it’s highly unlikely that they could get rid of any spirits,just my thoughts.Tomb Raider.

science is usually more on the lines of against the existence of ghost than for it. however, some science is related, such as heat and recorders, but to command these entities to leave is more on the lines of religious activity.

I never knew this was possible until I have done it, and I would never thought that it could be done….I astral projected because of this demon spirit that would come and harass me. I came out of my body, saw him, went over and grabbed him and threw and held him to the floor. You see it’s spirit to spirit now, I could do that, then I call out for help, for a cross, and my spirit friend a good spirit that came to me for years handed me a cross with Jesus on it, I apply it to his forehead, he screamed, and smoke came out of from his head, and he never came back. That’s one way to rid a ghost…..
Now I will give one million dollars to a skeptic if he could do that.

Yes, all things supernatural, although seemingly “unexplainable”, can be explained through science, and many scientists and physicists (especially Einstein) have sought to explain the supernatural through science (parallel dimensions, for example). I would say that since ghosts tend to operate at different levels of energy, if one could somehow change that energy frequency level then they could change how that ghost operates. For example, if it takes a certain energy level of 80 (not an expert on how energy is measured) for a ghost to completely manifest, then if you had a machine that could change a certain spot to 80, then if that ghost walked there he could manifest in plain sight. Likewise, if a ghost cannot enter an energy level of, say, 12, and you changed the energy of a house to 12, then no ghost could enter. This is just a theory, so don’t take me too seriously!
—-Come to think of it, there was actually a comic book character (can’t remember name, worked with blade) that exorcised evil spirits with a huge gun that blasted energy at different frequencies!
