what is up with that?
ofcourse i know they are not real,duh!I just can’t believe that writers & directors would make such a stupid blunder,if they create sth,with special characteristics or featuers,why are they only applied to some parts why not think it through & not make it in a way that adds up?if they can’t touch ,they shouldn’t be able to sit or walk or any other thing like that!
This should not be a physics question. There are spirits, but they do not exist here. So therefore, ghosts do not exist on earth.
It is because they are works of fiction. They can do whatever the script writer says.
There are many imaginary things that can make exciting and enjoyable fiction stories. Many people enjoy them and so do I.
Just remember, these are NOT REAL:
Spirits, dragons, time traveling, Cupid, reincarnation, werewolves, genies, zombies, telepathy, mermaids, vampires, lucky numbers, tooth fairies, homeopathic healing, magic (of any color), leprechauns, spontaneous human combustion, astrological influences, Vulcan death grip, clairvoyants, astral traveling, Superman, angels, charmed or lucky objects, unicorns, hexes, space aliens on Earth, light sabers, paranormal anything, dead people walking around, fountain of youth, telekinesis… or supernatural events of any kind.

So do ghosts have mass? They’d have to, to impart an acceleration to anything in the physical world. And to “sit on tables & chairs & walk on the floor” which is the result of acceleration due to gravity. And to reflect light. And to make noises (moans and indistinct speech). And to generate images on infrared sensitive film. Yet they can still, somehow pass through barriers and continue on the other side.
Curious curious curious.
Another question is, why are you more “likely” to see ghosts in old houses than in hospitals? I would think that because more folks have died in the latter places than in the former, there’d be a greater likelihood of meeting Aunt Sally (1925-1987) at St. Lorraine’s Regional Medical Center than in 42 E. Yancy St., LaHaint MS.
Hey, my wife and daughter both like Ghost Hunters and I don’t feel like irritating them with my skepticism. So I content myself with haunting the kitchen and making indistinct snide remarks while the show is on.
And they both wish they could figure out how to UNhaunt the kitchen while the show is on.
I can tell you with 100% certainty that there exist technology that can recreate every aspect of what we humans normally associate with the idea of ghost, and more, much more.
This technology can induce true pressures, forces, and vacuum into any point X,Y,Z,t space-time. This classified technology, if declassified and made known to the public, nothing in the world would ever be the same again. Whole social/political/economic institutions would collapse as a result.
In short, when this technology is used for the purpose of simulating ghost activity, it can can easily create the effects you speak of, and much more.
There are people all over the world today who are subjected to human experimentation by remote means in testing and developing this classified technology.
