The truth about ghosts

How to invite good ghosts into my home?

Um I don’t know, a medium maybe. I can’t think of any ways to do that though!

Be a good person and think positive

You already have ghosts in your home. Everybody does. It’s just that you can’t see them, unless you have enough awareness.

They don’t need an invite, especially the bad ghosts that have only one objective in mind. Crashing the party.

Bad ghosts will follow you everywhere, but so do good ghosts. People speak of haunted houses, as if leaving the house will leave them behind. This is just a myth because ghosts are easier to see when alone in a home. As opposed to running about town.

The more good people you have around you, the more good ghosts will be with you. In your home, or anywhere else.

These are some basic ghost facts. The ghost myths are what haunt us.

If you believe in ghosts, then you are asking “how shall I attract nice people that now happen to be dead”.

I would think that you would like ghosts that you have something in common with so I suggest you have a warm welcoming home with the things that you are most interested in displayed so that any passing ghosts will be attracted to share your interests – if you have made a really nice quilt for example, don’t hide it in a box, hang it in your hallway so anyone you encounter of this or other realm can be attracted by your handiwork.

Put out things ghosts like, such as chains to rattle. Leave doors open for them to slam. Make your home like a ghost amusement park.

This is probably more appropriate in the “folklore” section. However, there are some very interesting ideas throughout the history of folklore.

The Havamal (from Nordic mythology, and my personal favorite) says that you should nail a horseshoe over the door of your home with the ends up in order to keep a good ghost in; but if you have a bad ghost, then the points should go down.

I forget which Greek story it is that says that evil ghosts can be repelled, but good ghosts can’t be attracted.

Russian folklore says that good ghosts can be attracted by making your home filled with antiques, and that only a shaman can eject an evil ghost (the same shamans, incidentally, who might be considered weak for not being able to turn into a wolf at will).

A gypsy story from the Tam says that good ghosts may be attracted by praying for them, while evil ghosts can be cast out simply by burning a bundle (what we in the US tend to call a “smudge”).

An African story (not sure where it’s from) says that ghosts will come and go as they see fit, and the only thing you can really do is to withstand it and keep your wits about you. Evil spirits will be detected by the village shaman and he’s responsible for casting them out.

There are just so many ideas about what can or can’t be done, it’s difficult to figure out!

But personally, for comfort, I like the horseshoe idea.

The flow of positive energy into your home. My bedroom is the spiritual center of my house, any spirits that enter, end up there. So I went through it and meticulously made it a very positive atmosphere, an a place that said, “this is my sanctuary”. So, these are the things my guides have taught me….

–Candles–white ones.

–incense. Frankincense or frankincense and myrrh, is excellent, it keeps off the bad guys. But any incense that makes YOU feel good is the key. Something that makes you smile, close your eyes and inhale at the scent of it. Nag Champa is also really good for this. Or some of that oriental scented stuff, you know the kinds that smell like those import shops? There’s always a flow of positive energy in those shops….

–stones. Angelite and selenite specifically–invites the good guys to come in.

–and…simply stating out loud that only beings who exist in love and light may enter your home. You can even ask specifically that the angels watch over and protect your home. Invite the angels to be with you.

–see your home surrounded in a giant, solid bubble of light, above and below the ground.

–wind chimes–hang them at the front and back door. I have no idea why, but dark spirits don’t like the sound they make.

Basically you need to be really specific about who you want to come into your home, and to fill your home with light, with things that feel light. Make your space feel like it’s your sanctuary, it’s YOUR space, and make it a space that relaxes you, some place you love to be. Make it a place darkness doesn’t WANT to be.

“Ghosts” are the souls of people who have died and are trapped between the two worlds. Personally, I wouldn’t describe them as being “good” or “bad”, They are just lost souls.

I believe that they need help to move on from this world. Inviting them into your home may be interesting for you but it doesn’t do any good for them. Imagine for example that your mom or dad died. Then imagine that someone sent them to go to another house. How would you feel?

I think you would be happier working on meditations to feel the energies of your spirit guides that are already in your own space instead of inviting ghosts in.

If you would like help with that, please send me an email, I would be happy to recommend some methods for you to try.

I hope that helps. :)

Go to a ghost meet and great

Get a Goody board

No need to send out invitations, ghosts and spirits are around all the time. I would not invite anything, you never know who might accept the invitation.

Play Ouija a lot… become too religious (so they try to disrupt you) or investigate them a lot…

Investigating them and getting your hands dirty with information and photos kinda attracts them, I noticed that the more information you collect, the stronger (and sometimes violent) their reactions get.

I’m yet to test this myself.

ghosts love eating burgers and drinking beer, not sure why but is a commonly known fact. Leave out some big macs and some beer for the ghosts, once they start eating/drinking enter the room wearing a white sheet with eye holes cut out to try and blend in with the rest of them and start to party!!!

u can invite good ghosts by playing ouija board in a lonely, isolated, and dar place at the middle of the night…in a place like ur attic, or storehouse…
but, in the process, u can also invite bad ghosts too, so its at ur own risk!!!!
some bad ghosts wont let go, after they get u

I do not know if it is possible to be sure if it is good or bad until it arrives. Maybe it would just be easier for you to go find a haunted house & stay a few nights in it then the ghost can accompany you back to your place.

You can’t invite “just” good ones into your home. You either invite them or you don’t, and since it’s essentially the same as putting a sign on your front lawn that says “Anyone and everyone, come on in!” there’s no way of getting just “good” ones.

Ghosts are just people that happen to be dead. Some are nice, some aren’t so nice. It’s not a good idea to invite ANY in.

do not invite “ghost”s into your house; you do not know what you are inviting in.
