I don’t believe you can. I believe they exist, but I don’t think they are spirits of the dead, however much it seems like they are. Maybe some as yet unexplained way that past events can be picked up by the brain and translated through our main senses. Almost like a video recording. But I don’t believe you can have two way communication with whatever they are. As far as ouija boards go, I have seen them work, but again, I think it has more to do with subconcious expectation and movements than spirits. I do believe in a lot of paranormal things, I just don’t go along with current expanations of them. Remember that our ancestors were sure that thunder and lightning were gods rampaging across the sky, which would seem pretty plausible without an understanding of atmosphere.
