I don’t think I agree with the reasoning here as to why it might be better
I think they sometimes have just as hard time contacting us as we do them. I think it is designed that way. HOWEVER, when its my turn, I KNOW i would RATHER have a LADY LOOKING for me than some guy trying to antaginise me into a reaction. I’ll touch a Lady before I will a Man…lol..lol…I simply think that depending on the age of the ghost at the time of its departure, type of generational beleifs and even religious back ground have alot to do with the contact. EXAMPLE: Older generational ghosts might preferr a lady based on their conception of MALE female Rolls. Younger say now adays might be more liberal in their earthly ideas and be open to both or even male contact. Remember that in many beleifs around the world MALES do not perform business with FEMALES. It would be a MALE contact senario there. I think some back ground of the areas and individuals you are attempting to contact prior to starting the investagation would turn out better positive contacts.

I think it depends on the spirit in question. I believe that they are the same type of person when they have passed over as they were when they were alive. Some people prefer male interactions over female and vice-versa.
Also, there are many types of spirits. Some are people who have passed away and others are simply energy (whether it be positive or negative). These things would have to be taken into consideration as well.
And one last note is that not all men and female fit into their stereo-typical images. You could have a very empathetic man and a cold-hearted woman. Or someone who loved their father, much more than their mother…so on and so forth.

Were I a ghost, I would not respond to a mother like voice.
Now if I heard Jennifer Love Hewitt or a similar voice. That I would most certainly respond to.

Well on some of the paranormal shows that I watch they do have women investigators on the teams.If it’s a male spirit they may feel more comfortable responding to women,but most investigators use the technique to provoke to bring out the spirits so they will communicate with them.

No. If ghosts actually exist and ghosts are former humans, why would there be a difference? I respond equally to a male or female voice. I think most adults do.

I think that it is a generalization but yes, I do think that they would respond to women more. Women are by nature very empathic and emotional, men are more logical. A man might be thinking “Dude, if you’re there just say something, what’s the big deal?” whereas a woman might be feeling/thinking “Maybe they are scared. Maybe they don’t want to get in trouble.” I think a reluctant ghost would be more inclined to respond to someone who was being compassionate and trying to empathize with them and their situation….as opposed to “What’s the matter, you’re too weak to show yourself or what?”

But like I said, that is a generalization. Not all men and women fit those molds.
