Theoretically it can happen. But there is no reliable scientific proof that paranormal phenomena is real. Although there is no proof that says it’s not real. We can’t be sure.

Quantum physics is beginning to unravel the answers in a scientific way about this kind of thing. However, for many thousands of years non-western culture has known and interacted with what westerners call the paranormal. The spirit world is one of energy and is where we were before we came into these bodies and where we will go when we no longer need these bodies. However, once we no longer inhabit these bodies, we do not suddenly have personality changes. If someone is mean and sadistic, they remain the same way. These kind of people in spirit are the sources of the “voices” that tell people they are supposed to do terrible things to others.
It seems that those who are immersed in the western culture are beginning to grapple with the realities that tribal people have long lived with. It seems to be a struggle, just as it was a struggle to come to terms with the facts that the world is neither flat nor the center of the universe.
At any rate, none of this is to be played with.

there has been proof that these things have happened… demons, ghosts, spirits i believe they are all out there somewhere….. i mean the exorcism of emily rose was actually based on true events. she was actually possessed. so…..i think it could actually happen BUT not in that sort of theatrics where they are actually thrown around like in the movie

I happen to believe that supernatural events are possible. I am also a believer in the presence of ghosts and demons. I can only speak of what I have experienced and been exposed to, but i do believe that these things can happen, though it’s rarely anything like the movies.

Believing in the paranormal gives the paranormal power. Not believing removes it. If you don’t believe, it can’t hurt you.

no one can prove it one way or the other, yes, weird things do happen, it’s up to the person to believe that it’s a ghost or a demon, or simply their wild imaginations.

That movie was entirely fictitious as is any other story about ghosts and demons, believing in something doesn’t make it real.

It’s happened. One can not tell who is susceptible to demonic possession.
Many of these paranormal events are based on actual true stories that have simply been re-created for the big screen.
