The truth about ghosts

Quantum physics has somewhat proved that ghosts are simply energetic wavelengths.

So is it possible to detect their movement using a device that detects blue and red shifts in the electromagnetic spectrum using the Doppler phenomena ?

Other day was watching a TV show and it showed a device that traced out the movement of a ghost in some haunted location. If it was possible, what is the mechanism behind that detection ? Doppler shift or something else ?

Somewhat proved???
Making something silly sound scientific does not make it so.

“Quantum physics has somewhat proved that ghosts are simply energetic wavelengths.”

Really? Do you have a journal article citation? Or can you just summarize the mathematical derivation, if you don’t mind? Because it sounds like you got your science from ghost shows on TV. That’s kind of like getting your nutrition from fast food restaurants.

Answer: No, QM hasn’t proven that ghosts are anything. QM has nothing to say about “ghosts”, which don’t have any definition to begin with, scientifically speaking. So the answer is no, they can’t.

Quantum physics is mostly just numbers on a blackboard. Unverified mathematical proofs put together by people who either cannot or will not design the experiments needed to produce the empirical evidence for their own doodles.

Often people who write these mathematical proof are dependent on other mathematical proof which have equally never been empirically demonstrated.

Which makes them even more questionable.

Forget quantum physics, real life field research has clearly demonstrated a link between multiple types of paranormal activity and electromagnetic disturbances. Most frequently sharp and\or erratic spikes across areas of the spectrum.

Doppler shift only works when there is relative movement. So, basically, you’d have to be running away from\towards a ghost, or vice versa, for Doppler shift to be in evidence. Even then the movement would need to be fast and exaggerated. Which makes it a poor medium for detection at best.

Equally, a high percentage of spirits do not appear to give off light, or to reflect it. They are to all intensive purposes invisible. So Doppler would not be a workable way of detecting them. No light sources\reflected light, no red\blue shift.

I don’t know what TV show you watched, but I doubt the science behind it. Are you certain that it wasn’t a fictional show, like Medium or Tru Blood?
