I don’t think it’d necessarily make them more likely to, but it may make them more obvious to us since we’d be more aware of their presence. On the other hand, it could make you assume things were of ghostly/spiritual nature when really it’s only your imagination. It’s nothing to dwell on, however.

Okay, first of all, ghosts are a total stereotype. What do you picture when you think of a ghost? White flowey thing, holes for creepy eyes, kind of whistling noise as it moves, maybe more of a whooshing, like wind? And what about a spirit? What do you picture when you think of a spirit? I can’t picture anything…But the thing is, you can’t see either, both allegedly exist…but the only spirits and ghosts that actually do exist are the Spirit of Christ, and the Holy Ghost, as well as the spirit of the devil, which is what used to haunt people, make them possessed…not sure if that still happens.

Define a ghost. Must have a lot of imagination to do so. No one can seem to clearly say what a ghost is, along with what it can and can not do. Are they made of matter like us? If they can be seen with our eyes, that means either the ghost emits photons (light particles) or it is reflecting photons. If we can hear them, the ghost must be vibrating the air to make sound, therefore made of matter that is denser than air. Meaning also they can’t pass through liquids or solids. And we can cause harm to them than they do to us. Why do they avoid the one that really want to examine them, the scientists. Some ghosts themselves must have been scientists, why would they shun their fellow kin?

Yes it appears that way for me, I always believe in them, had no choice I have seen them ever since age four. And once this one spirit believed to be my spirit guide knew I could see her and feel her personal thoughts even while I am a sleep if she came close, that’s when she communicated all the more.
Ghost are spirits that haven’t transcended, they are closer to our dimension why they are easier to see them with more details. Most don’t even realize that they are dead, they think they are still alive why they will open the door instead of going right through it. And many times residual type haunting is confused with a ghost.
Spirits are from other dimensions that they have transcended to, they are aware of their death and have more abilities because they are aware of their passing. Usually higher dimension spirits don’t appear to have much details to see on them because their vibrational speed is much faster than a ghost, unless they know enough to slow down their vibration speed, then you can see them in their all details, but only for seconds. Like a fan a high speed, slow it down and you can see more detail of the blades.
Why spirits, ghost and residual haunting are confusing because they all have similarities. You can ascertain the differences if you see or communicate with the same spirit or ghost many times over. The more you experience the more you learn.

“Perception is a function of preconception”. If you believe in spirits, then you are more likely to have some sort of experience that you would attribute to spirits, since expectation leads to power of suggestion.

Kristin,to me they are one of the same.Some people just refer to them as ghosts or spirits.We are all human and we have souls,this is just a spirit of a deceased person.Some spirits are attracted to certain people and some people are known to be what they call empaths.Spirits seem to be drawn to them.They can sense and see spirits.I am not sure that they just come to us because we have the belief in them.I have had several experiences even when I was a skeptic.Just my thoughts regarding this.

Not necessarily. Most ghosts and spirits are attracted to people who can see and hear them (mediums), not because they believe, but because they have the capacity to help them.
And a spirit is the soul of a person. A ghost is the same thing, except ghost is a term usually used for a soul whose trapped on earth, who hasn’t crossed into the light yet. A spirit is a soul whose crossed and has returned.

Usually, but not necessarily the case. If you believe, you might find ways to talk to them or notice when they give signs. If they need something done or some help, they will find you. This is quite logical since if you need help you will find someone who can help you. For malevolent or naughty spirits they will get to you whether you believe it or not. Spirits or souls are general terms we use for the entity. We usually call the deceased or those without a physical body as ghosts.
