I’m just curious about this –
The Bible openly states that ghosts are nothing more than demons, right? That the dead do not live on except in Heaven/Hell, right? So why do people who hold otherwise Christian beliefs believe in ghosts?
Surely, if anything, ghosts are completely based in folklore or older belief systems.

I’m sorry if you find this question strange or offensive. But I’m just trying to understand the reasoning behind believe in God and the supernatural.
And please don’t answer:
“Because the Bible says so.”
or
“the Holy Spirit is real and ghosts are not”
Those are claims without reason or proof.
I don’t want speculations. I would rather hear from individuals who have experienced spirits/ghosts.

I have beaten the easy ghosts and am no longer unlocking the fast ones. I unlocked the luigi circuit fast staff ghost but havent unlocked another since on the other levels. I’ve played all of them and beaten about half, but cannot race the fast ones.

In society there are many folklore tales and supposed hauntings of houses etc. Many people believe in ghosts while others don’t.
Why do people still believe in ghosts when most incidences have shown to be hoaxes, revealed to be fabricated, or unsolved?
